ms tan!

Skipped school and went back to whtiley with jeff, ken, jh, cnzy and rav. Been going back for 3 teacher days. The new campus is larger and more cosy than last time. Now the school feature an indoor basketball court and gymnasium which we never dreamt of during our times. Could hardly recgonise the school facilites as we tour around the school. Now the upper sec occupied the lower levels, while the lower sec occupied the upper levels, weird arrangement. The toliet smell like smoking chamber with crushed toliet paper stuck on the ceiling, i guess something never changed. Could hardly recognise any familiar face among the staff, most of the good teachers have left the school to have a better life at other school, few teachers that were in our time remained. Chit chatted with "ms tan" while she gave us a tour around the new campus. Glad that you are using the "bo chap attitude" now, no point scolding and crying over those notorious students

Dr Choo and Dr Ting

PPP today, a 4 hour course on job application skills such as writing resume, cover letter and interview skills set. Pretty interesting, the lecturer is damm hilarous, quite a useful course. Went for industrial visit at MDS, a biomedical company after PPP. Took a walk through around the factory, they producing mass spectrometer in which each cost half a million -.- After walking through the factory, i am certain that engineering is defintely not my cup of tea, i don't wanna spend rest of my life enclose in a room touching all the electronic and computer stuff, i want some job that is more challenging and expose more to the outside world, going around meeting different peoples and different places.

VPP is as boring as ever. Whole day rot in the project room gaming, surfing web and watching video. All of us totally no mood start off our project. Stupid botak lecturer minus 15 mark off our PD1 grade, tough luck guys.

Bloody driving instructor call me early in the morning force me to go for driving lesson while i am not free and scold me for nothing. Really hit my nerves this time. Had been enduring him for several lessons, he goes for grocery shopping during my lesson, toliet break for 10min+, releasing me early, whining while i drive, digging nose while i driving. Have been keeping quiet all the while, but now he really piss me off. Time to change instructor, no more dirty old fag and total chuiness nissan sunny. If anyone wanna know who is the instructor, msn me, i will reveal his identity.

Got a series of event line up this weekend, time to get busy :)

popeye chicken



Tried popeye chicken for the first time at singapore flyer with ken. The chicken was god like, 10 time better than kfc. The meat is tender and Q, the bread is crispy outside and soft inside. The 3 piece meal really satisfied my stomach. The serving is quite big too and the price is relatively cheap, i give 9/10.

After browsing through a few blogs. i shall join the others with the ranting of vpp. Yes! 7 weeks of holiday and we have to go back to sch for 5 weeks 8-5 for our final year project.

Singapore finally won their first medal in olympic aftter 48 years. 3 cheers to team singapore althogh we won because of foregin talents, but quite a achievement for all singaporean. Very tempted to play table tennis once again.

Finally caught money not enough 2 with jh and nic after being aeroplaned a few time
not as funny as the pervious one but quite a touching show
i will rate 7 out of 10 popcorns for this movie
the movie is funny if you understand hokkien
ah hui le jia ba buay?
the "mickey mao" bra part is hilarous too
enough of the funny parts,the ah ma part is damm touching
i actually cried when i watch the part
reminded me of my grandfather
roughly the same scenario
the sending of old folk home
~he didn't stay long in his own house after returning from the old folk home
the burning of incense paper in front of the grandma
~similar to what my relatives was planning in front of my grandfather
both of them save money just for the benefit of their childrens and grandchildrens
and see what they are treated by their childens and grandchildrens in the end?
and what was i doing when he catched his last breath?
my relatives had never come together and celebrate my grandparents birthday
grandma 80th brithday coming soon
i guess i have to do something about it
my grandfather passed away for 4 years, i miss him and regretted not spending much time with him

ndp 2007 : sky explorer
ndp 2008 : heartware ndp abassador

I participated in NDP for 2 years consecutively as a performer and an usher. I am proud to particpate in NDP and i will defintely miss those ndp times. I had great times and made great friends during the past 2 parades. Those memories will defintley stay with me forever. If you ask me which i prefer between performer and usher, i will prefer being an usher, not that performing is not fun, just that the training hours and waiting time spent on the trainings is really long, but we get to skate and play with pyros. This time round as usher, the training time is rather short and we get to play with primary 5 kids. I enjoyed myself during these 2 parade and never regretted spending my time on NDP. Too bad i not be able to participate in next year NDP due to army.
I LOVE SINGAPORE, THIS IS WHERE I BELONG!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE



NDP is definitley one of the highlight event of the year. FEEL THE SINGAPORE SPIRIT. Today is our last show, the last day being a heartware ndp abassador. As usual E2 get seperated and this time round I was posted to orange sector ushering the

VIPs. Spent my whole day under shade and my job is to direct the VIPS to their respective sector by checking their tickets and refer them to the correct staircase. I got to usher all the generals and see all the ministers up close. What a "high up" aura they got. The defense minister actually waved at me and smiled. Quite an experience for me. The atmosphere at the parade is sore high despite the heavy rain. The black knights and the fireworks is abit off standard due to the weather, but overall good job! During the second half of the parade, min hui and i was actually watching the parade outside the function room, out of the blue someone said excuse me from behind. When i turned around me head, i was stuned. Cai Chun Chun Jia and Hady appeared behind us, we immediately gave way to them. Oh my tian, so paiseh la! Cai Chun Jia look nicer in real life than on TV. Tooks tons of photos and party around after the parade. Everyone was high and keep waving and shouting goodbyes to the audience. NDP participants forming train and dancing around on the plathform. Took group photos with the whole of heartware's ndp usher after debrief. Said farewell to E2 since the supper was canceled after taking our own group photos. Hope to see you guys soon at our next outing. Slacked around with G2 at the grass patch outside marina before heading home. I will surely miss you guys.

I tend to waste my life away and end up complaining about the time wasted in the future. I told myself to change for the better and the changes only lasted awhile. Despite so many downfalls, i never learnt my lesson after these years. I'm such a fucktard with the lack of determination. Ironically one of the character in my chinese name means determination.

Finally i got myself PDL after passing my theory tests for quite some time. Took my PDL at ssdc and went to study with nic at nyp for awhile. Xiao zhu and amanda was so surprise to see me there in nyp, thats happen when i saw familar faces when i crash nyp. First lesson was fun, my instructor allow me to drive around the car park and then to the main road (j8 to ken's house). Store the car at my first traffic light and e brake for nothing. Still haven't get the hang for the clutch and brake pedal. I need more practise!

NDP Preview! Decided not to hitch a ride on jeff car early in the morning. Met another fellow ndp usher under my block, so qiao, didn't know there is another ndp usher living in my block somemore same school, how could i never notice her exsistence? What a small world indeed. Esplanade sector was split into severals group, kinda disappointed as E2 is not really bonded compare to other groups as we didn't have much time together. Was posted to orange sector (partial vip) sector with ming hui and celestine. Spent the whole day under the hot sun ushering the vips. The vips really took their own sweet time to settle down, didn't get any scolding today other than asking me not to block their view to my astonishment. Got a lost grandma case today, she got lost with her daughter and she forgot everything exept where she seperated from her daughter. Even the police don't know what to do with her, luckily in the end her daughter manage to find her mum :) Seen alot of familiar face today, slacked with welan during the second after the break, the dispersion was quicker than usual. Black knight is dope as ever, firework is awesome. Supper with nix and lec before heading home . Can't wait for NDP and the outdoor party after that!
