there goes my LCD
Was pouring when i woke up, slept awhile longer and was late for project. I hate the new implemented signing in system where you have to take a photo while signing in or signing out. Our kit set doesn't seem to work properly, here come the worse part, wanted to put in my lappy battery, so my tumb pressed slightly on the LCD screen, then i heard a crack sound. Initially there is only a small crack and it turned up to be like this (shown above). Drop down HP service center with ken. I tried to talk that guy out, but too bad the damaged isn't covered in the warranty, if i have to repair it i need to pay a least 1k for that. FCUKING SUAY LAH, fcuk up laptop can withstand fall from 1 storey cannot withstand a little pressure, guess i had to get a new lappy soon with my own money...WTHHHHHHHHH. Time to face the music...
Drop down to j8 to have dinner with hilda, janice, shu fen, ken and nic. Ate kfc with them, wasn't in the mood tho. 1k+ gone just like that....:( Slack around at j8 and watched forbidden kingdom. The movie was okay, just that they speak english which is quite weird as they direct translate all the phrase from chinese to english. For example, no shadow kick, one death touch blah blah

Haven been blogging for a few days, since i am so free in my project room now i decided to post about what have i done this few days. Fri: Dropped down fuji for ice session last friday. It been months since i last ice skated, catch up with the fellow ice skaters. Not much freshies turn up though. I love ice skating, the ambience, the wind, the ice.. Sat: Catched up with clement and gary together with jeff and jh at chomp chomp, spammed all the spicy food, end up getting sore throat the next day. Sun: Went to get belt for my dad. Very surprised to see beer laos singlet selling at bugis street. Watched definitely maybe, overall a nice love comedy show. I give 8/10 for this movie

Skipped school today. Reached school at 4 to meet ley, ken, jb and jeff. Skated at kismis, not much people turn up. Have to wait for next week for the new batch to come in. Got back some of my skills and picked up a few little tricks today. Catch up with some skating friends, too some time to recognizes them. Went home earlier due to power failure. Looking forward for ice tomorrow :)

Just came back from my cousin grace's wedding. The wedding was held at sheraton hotel. The ballroom is not bad. Met up with my cousins, catch up a little with them. Really envy them, the couples had mantain and relationship for 6 years and finally they got married, really felt happy for them :)

Stomachache early in the morning, make me late for the first lesson in year 3. Doesn't really matter though, since my lecturer turned up 1hour later. Rot from 8 to 5 in school, playing basketball and walking around the school. Our project gonna be challenging yet interesting. Still haven decide on what topic to do yet. Seen alot of freshie around the school, which make me realize how time flies in poly. In a blink of eye we are year 3 now.

Jh, jeff and nic came my house before dropping down toa payoh central. Ate at pizza hut, served by an ah thiong and a "new" guy. Walked around toa payoh central gathering information of handphones, since most of us changing our phone soon. Saw pei fen from 933 fm at tpy hub atrium, she is prettier in real life, surprise to see alicia there too
School is starting in 1 day time and I will be year 3, part of me can't wait for the school to start while the other part of me is dreading it. This coming year will be a challenging one, let hope for the best :)

janice, hilda, me, ken, nic
Hit the gym together with jeff and ethan, was expecting more people to turn up, but most of them overslept. My old injuries came back while i was doing incline bench press, my right arm suddnely no strength at all..i wonder why...went to find au yong to claim vaccination money. Went to canteen 1 to grab a bite with the others before going down to j8. Met up with janice, hilda, ken and nic to catch the movie The Three Kingdom. The movie is so-so but ken thinks that andy lau 's action very sak at the last part =/ Mos burger for dinner, ken was reading tarot for everyone. Jeff went home ahead of us after dinner, catched up with the rest before heading home. Most of us did changed for the better since our secondary school days :)

Everyone of us got paired out with the laotian students there. I was assigned to 3 laotian "kids"(ai, nua, nong). They are friendly people, just that i have a serious communication breakdown with them. Hard to get my message through to them. Laotian language lesson by Mr Thong Ban, doze off halfway during the lesson though. Started our construction work today, bangla works~~This is my first attempt on construction work and it is not as tough as i imagined. Formed a human chain to bring up the bricks and helped to carry the cement. The cement is no joke (50+kg). The students were very eager to help us, feel kinda of awkward after awhile when all if them staring at us like chunk of meat and mumbling at us in laotian. Overall i felt happy doing all the work despite getting dirty. You can clearly see the wall is not done by professional as it is slanted and unstable. Went for massage intro by peter after the rehearsal, most of us regretted going =x

jeff's new ride
Met up with joshua, jeff, raviyn, jia hao and ken at j8. Gug and nic didn't turn up in the end. Jeff gavs us a ride with his new car to casurina for prata. It is nice to see most of them again, joshua and gug is going in army in 4 days time, take care inside . The pratas was good, went nic house for mahjong after that. Cant believe i never win a single round. Headed to ethan' s place after mahjong. Ate abit of the bbq foods, wasn't that hungry though. Played mahjong, blackjack and texas. Neo tempted me to show hand in texas, making me bandrupt in the first round =/ Managed to win alittle back when neo gave me some of my chips back, but i lost in the end. I lost money in blackjack also..i guess my luck wasn't that good today. Most of us stayed over at his place yesterday. Catched the prestige and music and lyrics, both movie are nice, especially music and lyrics. Love the song Way Back Into Love. Didn't slept much last night. Went home around 3pm. I am dead tired now :(

Saw this video on edmw ages ago..quite a touching video. Despite being blind, the young Yoo Ye Eun who can't see from birth, can play the piano after listening to the tune just once, really amusing...Every human being born in this world is special, everyone is destined to do something, so what are you destined for?
Skated with nic at bishan park yesterday. Practiced awhile at our usual area. Seem to get back some of our skills. I still dun dare to do those high level moves like wheel barrow and my slalom skill still stuck at crazy :(

Finally free to update the 2nd entry of my Laos trip, this is the 2nd day :) Our original plan of building a toilet at nongduang was changed because some other volunteering group took over the toilet project. So we took on the classroom project in xaysettha school. Alvin tore down the whole basin single handedly, making their room basin-less. Drop by nong duang in the morning, according to peter it is a gangster school. The toilet and library is indeed more well off compared to the old ones. We was greeted warmly like some football stars or movie stars once we entered xaysettha school. The students there are super friendly, some are pretty shy initially. Ethan's cooking group cooked macroni for lunch. They gave us a tour around the school visting the computer lab and the construction site, and our objective of the project is to build 2 classroom. The food in the canteen is good, the beef ball taste like fish cake but it is nice though. The noodles there is good. Surprisingly there is bubble tea store in the canteen and it is taste better and more filling than singapore's bubble tea. Played volleyball against the school team of the school. We get owned badly, they are good :( The ball seem to fly anywhere except the opponent's court, i guess my volleyball skill are not up to it =/ Rae, lec ,clare and wj was in my team. Chilled out at the lobby with the bms peeps at night, played 7-up with them. Some of us got wasted and "merlion" for the whole night. Au yong caught them mixing gender in the hotel room...she didnt do much apart of giving lecture and making them do report.

Gym in the afternoon with the usual people. When i entered the changing room looking for ethan, i was surprised to see neo in the changing room. Went to town after gym, nix and lec was late as usual. Catched An Empress And The Warriors, better than i expected, pretty nice show by the way. The ending was kinda sad though, the princess lost both men who love her :( Walk around town (window shopping) and headed home. Peter text me on msn saying that he saw me in town, too bad he didnt call me...it had been awhile since we last met..really miss the primary school days..good old memories.
