Yes!! finally the first entry on my Laos trip. I got 20+gb of photos(8000+ photos) to arrange, so the whole entry on my laos trip will take some time. 3rd-4th of march. A bumpy ride from Singapore to Malaysia. 5 hours of bus ride and we finally reach KL's budget terminal. Didnt sleep well due to the lighs. Ate our breakfast at Mac donald. Our flight was slighty delayed. This is my first attempt on budget airline and going abroad wtihout using changi airport. The seats is on first come first serve basis and the food need to be bought. I was amazed at everything i saw when we arrived in Laos. The airport is way better than Myanmar and the weather is cooling (23 - 25) i was expecting (30+). The alcohol and cigarette is dirt cheap, neo and gang bought quite a few bottles and we bought a few pack at the duty free there..We met our host Mr Peter Tan the owner of dragon lodge, a friendly and nice guy despite his gay appearance. Peter brought us to a buffet restaurant for lunch, the food there was good despite eating the spicy spaghetti. Visted the morning market, is something like singapore's pasir pangjang. Peter brought us around the town after lunch , visting the mekong river and some shops (joma bakery). Ate at some laotian steamboat restaurant. The steamboat there is way differnt from Singapore, the pork was god like, finished 2 plates of pork that time. Instead of butter they uses lard as the source for oil. They tried to kill a dog by feeding the dog 15+ pieces of lard, i wont be surprise if the dog drop dead the next morning. The shopping mall there was not as bad as i expected. Dragon lodge
was pretty comfy. Many things turned out better than i expected. Laos is full of surprises :)
